2015 Pinot Noir, Stone Corral Vineyard

Crisp black-plum and mulberry aromas meet with wild mint, baked earth and rosemary on the extremely elegant nose of this bottling by veteran Stephen Ross Dooley. There is a strong herbal kick to the palate of oregano and marjoram, but also floral hints of lavender and violets, all decorating the dark fruit in the background.

2013 Pinot Noir, Chorro Creek

Ruby-red. Aromas of red and dark berry preserves, smoky herbs and cola, plus an earthy overtone. Pungent, palate-staining cherry and blackberry flavors are enlivened by a zesty mineral nuance. The dark berry and smoke notes repeat on the long, smoky, gently sweet finish. Plenty of heft here. - Josh Raynolds
