A beautiful, semi-translucent Pinot Noir from a great site in the Edna Valley, the 2023 Pinot Noir Stone Corral Vineyard offers up red plums, darker cherries, dried herbs, and some smoky, earthy nuances on the nose. It's medium-bodied, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a good finish. It spent 16 months in
35% new French oak, and it has plenty to love. I suspect it will have a good decade of overall longevity. Drink 2026-2036.

Redcurrants, leather, peppery spice, spicy herbs, and violets all emerge from the 2023 Pinot Noir La Encantada Vineyard, which was vinified with 100% stems and aged 16 months in 33% new French oak. It's beautiful on the palate, medium to full-bodied, with a pure, layered mouthfeel and a great finish. Drink 2026-2033.
Tense aromas of Meyer lemon peel and pith are leveled by a hint of crème fraîche on the nose of this appellation cuvée. The palate is enveloping in texture, showing soft lemon curd and baked pear flavors that are cut with a clay-like minerality and some firm tannins. —M.K.
