This is a fantastic example of the SLO Coast, pairing fresh fruit with ample spice and aromatic herbs. The nose’s blend of cranberry, cherry, marjoram, and ajwain lead into the palate of tart red fruit, snappy sumac, and light game, as grapefruit peel gives extra kick. Editor’s Choice. —M.K.
